Applying Directly to Edge Hill University

Students sit around tables in a social learning area on the first floor of the Tech Hub.If you are a prospective student and want to study a taught Masters degree, Masters by Research degree, Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma, or a part-time undergraduate course, you will need to apply directly to Edge Hill University.

For the vast majority of these courses, this will involve an online application, although for a handful of programmes you will need to download and complete an application form. A small number of courses require you to submit a CV instead.

A lecturer addresses a classroom of students.The online application process involves supplying standard information such as qualifications, employment history and personal details, as well as answering relevant questions which are tailored for each programme. You will need to create an account if it is your first time applying through the system.

Some courses have multiple intake dates and are available on a full-time or part-time basis. Please ensure that you choose the link to the correct application form for your preferred start date and mode of study.

Once you have begun your application, you must complete it before the deadline date. We recommend trying to complete it within a fortnight.  Your account will be active for 90 days.

Upon submission, your application will be sent to us for consideration. There is no fee to apply directly to Edge Hill University.

International Students

Unlike UK and EU students, however, international students also have the option to apply for full-time undergraduate courses and PGCEs via direct application, if this method is preferred to using UCAS or UCAS Teacher Training.
