Applying directly to Edge Hill University

If you’re planning to study a part time undergraduate course, a taught Masters degree, a Masters by research degree, postgraduate certificate or postgraduate diploma, you’ll need to apply directly to us. If you’re an International student you can also apply directly. This page lists our departments and how to find your application form.

If you’re applying directly to us to start your studies, most courses need you to complete an online application. Sometimes you might be asked to download and complete an application form instead, or submit a CV. The requirements depend on the individual courses.

The links on this page, categorised by subject will take you to the relevant application information for all of the courses where you need to apply directly to Edge Hill University.

How to apply directly

If you’re applying directly to us we’ll ask you to supply standard information such as qualifications, employment history and personal details. You’ll also need to answer relevant questions which are tailored to each course.

You will need to create an account with us if it is your first time applying through the system.

Some courses have multiple intake dates and are available on a full-time or part-time basis. Check you’ve chosen the correct application form for your preferred start date and mode of study.

Once you have started your application, you must complete it before the deadline date. We recommend trying to complete it within a fortnight. Your account will be active for 90 days.

Upon submission, your application will be sent to us for consideration.

There is no fee to apply directly to Edge Hill University.
