Focusing on sustainability, this course explores how to successfully promote and implement sustainable change strategies within business environments. Gain key insights on how to balance economic objectives with long-term sustainability goals whilst developing the management skills and knowledge required to lead organisations.

What you'll study
This course is designed to provide you with everything you need to succeed in the world of sustainable leadership.
Throughout the programme, we’ll provide you with opportunities to enhance your existing knowledge and skills in leadership and management. You’ll strengthen your ability to transform an idea into an innovative product or service and critically evaluate risks from a range of perspectives. You’ll also develop the essential knowledge and skills needed to become a confident decision-maker and leader, capable of guiding teams and organisations through contemporary challenges.
You’ll gain an in-depth understanding of how the growing need for sustainability shapes decision-making linked to strategy, marketing and finance and you’ll explore how this will inform your future practice. We’ll also give you the opportunity to undertake a piece of independent research in this domain.
By the end of the course, you’ll be well-equipped to accelerate your career in the evolving field of sustainable leadership and management.

The course is delivered via workshops, seminars and lectures.
How you'll be assessed
The course utilises a variety of summative assessment methods, such as academic critical essays, simulations, case studies, reports, group presentations and portfolios.
Who will be teaching you
All modules are delivered by experienced lecturers and professors who have a research specialism and/or professional experience in their subject matter.
Where your course includes optional modules, these are to provide an element of choice within the course curriculum. The availability of optional modules may vary from year to year and will be subject to minimum student numbers being achieved. This means that the availability of specific optional modules cannot be guaranteed. Optional module selection may also be affected by timetabling requirements. Some restrictions on optional module choice or combinations of optional modules may apply.
Entry criteria
A qualification equivalent to a UK upper second class (2:1) honours degree.
A lower second class (2:2) may be admitted where you can provide evidence of experience and/or prior learning.
Professionally qualified and/or experienced candidates who do not meet the formal qualifications will also be considered but assessed individually.
Overseas qualifications will be assessed using ECCTIS (formerly NARIC) to ascertain comparability.
Please note, the above examples may differ from actual offers made. A combination of A Level and BTEC awards may also be accepted.
If you have a minimum of two A Levels (or equivalent), there is no maximum number of qualifications that we will accept UCAS points from. This includes additional qualifications such as Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), AS Levels that haven't been continued to A Level, and General Studies AS or A Level awards.
English language requirements
International students require IELTS 6.5, with a score no lower than 6.0 in each individual component, or an equivalent English language qualification.
If your current level of English is half a band, one band, or one-and-a-half bands lower, either overall or in one or two elements, you may want to consider our Pre-Sessional English course.

A stunning £8million building provides impressive teaching and learning facilities for students in Edge Hill Business School.
The contemporary three-storey building offers a 100-seat lecture theatre and modern seminar and meeting rooms. There are also social learning areas which encourages a more informal and interactive style of learning, in addition to an attractive roof garden and atrium.
