Who would have thought that I would end up being the Chief Executive of Southampton Business Improvement District, responsible to 630 businesses. Much of what I achieved over my career can be traced back to events at Edge Hill, or as importantly, the people I met.

Similar courses were available at other institutions, but I felt that Fastrack at Edge Hill was the only place to fully prepare you for the course, giving me the confidence that I was starting on a level playing field with other students coming straight from education.

When I sit back and think about all the things I’ve done in the last three years, I feel like I’ve achieved a lot in such a small amount of time. I put it down to hard work, resilience, fantastic support, and a solid foundation rooted in my days at Edge Hill.
