A short, intensive and free course, our Fastrack programme has been specifically designed to support progression on to a range of undergraduate degrees at Edge Hill. Aimed at mature learners who have been out of study for at least 2 years, and do not hold the required entry qualifications, you will be equipped with the confidence, familiarisation and essential academic skills required to study at degree level.
- It isn’t too late to study a degree. Fastrack is a quick, free and intensive way to gain access to a degree at Edge Hill;
- Perfect preparation for a degree. Get up to date with the latest study skills and subject knowledge to support a smooth transition on to your degree. You’ll complete two modules, one which relates to your subject choice and the other which focuses on study skills training;
- After completing our Fastrack programme, you will have the skills and knowledge needed to proceed onto a relevant degree at Edge Hill. Places are subject to availability and additional progression criteria may apply.

The availability of Fastrack subjects and progression routes varies for each academic year. Please note that there are currently no Fastrack routes for prospective Midwifery, Nursing & Social Work (dual award), Nursing (Child), Paramedic Practice, Social Work, or Sport and Physical Activity students.

Facilities
Based in 160 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, the Edge Hill University campus is a unique and inspirational place to study. Industry standard resources and cutting edge technology combine to make an interactive and highly advanced teaching and learning environment.
Everything you could want is on one site, from fantastic modern spaces in which you can study and socialise, to more than 2,200 rooms in halls of residence, and 60 acres of sport and leisure facilities.
