I originally applied to do business innovation and enterprise, but after the fastrack programme I decided that the marketing content was more of interest to me so I changed to a marketing degree.

Edge Hill always stood out to me. I came to study the fastrack course and I did not know whether I would progress further onto my chosen degree pathway, but after the short course I felt confident enough to progress onto my undergraduate degree. Whilst on this degree I have developed both my critical thinking and networking skills.

I was given an amazing chance to complete the study summer abroad programme in India where I attended Christ University Bangalore. I’m so grateful for this inspiring opportunity. One of the best things about Edge Hill is the many opportunities available. I completed the Business School’s consultancy E-MERGE project, where I was fortunate enough to be offered a job from the company I did my project with.

Every module is different on my degree and we get to shape the way we learn. The content is very fun and engaging. The Business School is always open to feedback and changing content depending on what their students want. We always get emails asking if we need any support and telling them about the resources available in every aspect whether it is mental health, money problems or academic struggles. They are always eager to help and support.

When I graduate I hope to work for a bigger company and excel in my professional career as I feel so much more confident now in this setting. But I also hope my own small business picks up – I want to be my own boss. I would tell anyone studying this degree to just take every opportunity you can get, you will be surprised at how many opportunities there are for you.
