Team Edge Hill

If you’re interested in representing the University in competitive sports, Team Edge Hill offers plenty of opportunities to get involved and develop and demonstrate your sporting skills.

Taking out a Team Edge Hill membership, you’ll be able to join one of the variety of clubs available. There are opportunities for you to get involved as an individual or part of a sports team. You’ll then train with and represent Edge Hill University, competing against students from other universities as part of the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) leagues.

Participating in competitive sports at university isn’t just about winning competitions. It’s about developing as a person, improving your health, enhancing your social network, and learning skills that can benefit you long after graduation.

Varsity

With Team Edge Hill, you’ll also have the chance to compete in our exciting annual varsity against the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN).

Varsity is always an eagerly awaited day of sport with fixtures. Each fixture contributes towards the varsity total with the University with the most points taking home the trophy. It’s a great way to get involved in competitive sport, whether you’re playing or supporting your friends.
