Our services

Fitness facilities

Our newly refurbished fitness suite contains cutting-edge equipment powered by Technogym, in a space that supports your goals, comfort, and performance. 

Fitness classes

Whether you are looking to build strength, improve flexibility, boost cardio, or just have fun while moving, our fitness class programme offers something for everyone.  

Personal training

Our personal training service offers expert guidance tailored specifically to you.  Our certified trainers will create a plan that fits your body, goals, and lifestyle.

Exercise referral

Available to staff and students via referral, we offer a tailored ten-week exercise referral programme to support a wide range of physical and mental health conditions.

Over 60s

We have a discounted off peak membership as well as an Active Edge programme aimed at those who are over 60 years of age.

Technogym App

All members will be granted access to Edge Hill Sport’s content on the Technogym App. Once a member downloads the app they can start enjoying all the benefits within 24 hours.

Sports Therapy Clinic

Located in the Wilson Building, our clinic operates termly and is run by Sports Therapy students under expert supervision. It’s open to Edge Hill students, staff, and the local community.  

Student placements

Our student placement programme provides a unique opportunity to put classroom learning into practice within a professional sports performance setting over a 20-week period (up to 120 hours).

Sports scholarship students

Our Sports Performance Programme is tailored for the University’s elite scholarship athletes who demonstrate exceptional commitment to both academic achievement and athletic excellence.
