We have accommodation to fit every budget. Utility bills are included in our accommodation costs, so you don’t have to worry about additional payments. All our halls of residence include free Wi-Fi. You can also enjoy a four-week free trial for the Sports Centre if you’ve made us your firm choice through UCAS and you’ve applied for your on-campus accommodation.

Travelling to campus

We offer a range of cost-effective transport initiatives to help you get from A to B. If you’re a commuter who drives or cycles, we have on-campus facilities to accommodate you. You can find out more about local travel on our Affordable Ormskirk webpage.

Edge Hill is one of only two out of 133 universities in the UK that do not charge for campus parking. In fact, many universities do not provide parking facilities at all. We offer 2,400 parking spaces free of charge to staff and students, making your journey to campus a smooth one.

Request a parking permit

A great way to guarantee a parking space is by connecting with another commuter. To reduce the amount of cars on campus, we have partnered with Liftshare. The groups are free to join, and you don’t need your own car – many drivers are happy to offer a lift in exchange for a contribution to petrol costs. You can sign up to Liftshare as an Edge Hill student and reserve your parking space online.
