Discover More

Discover More contains all our content. It has the details of all our print books and eBooks and content of our eJournals and databases. Use Discover More to find content as you start your studies and research. When you search, the search results will appear within Discover More and you can use further tools to limit your results. Check out the left hand side bar or use the sort options under ‘Best Match‘.

A ‘Find everything’ search will locate content from across most of our online collections and print stock. It will find full text journal articles and eBooks, print books with your keywords in the title and/or subject fields.

A ‘Find books and eBooks‘ search will search for authors and titles of books and eBooks. This is a quick way to narrow your search to our book stock.

A search using ‘Find full text journal articles’ will limit your search to peer reviewed, full text journal articles from within the electronic journals we subscribe to.

A search using ‘Browse Journals’ will help you find a specific eJournal. You will link to BrowZine which is an A-Z complete list of all the electronic journal titles we have at Edge Hill University.

Reading Lists Online

Your reading list contains books, journals and digital resources that your tutors have highlighted as essential and/or recommended reading. You may find a copy of your reading list within your module handbook but you can also access your reading lists online.

Subject Resources

Your subject resources are dedicated to your subject and are the key resources you will need for researching. Simply click on your chosen subject area and you will find instant access to scholarly (peer reviewed) research, journal articles, book reviews, newspapers and useful websites.
