Swimming lessons for children
The swimming pool at The Sports Centre is hired out to Total Swimming Academies (led by Olympic Medallist Steve Parry) who provide a range of lessons for children, from absolute beginners to those wishing to improve their stroke technique.
Lessons follow the Swim England Framework with a maximum of 6 children in each class, with teachers offering a wealth of experience.
Learners can benefit from teachers that are in the water, working with lower ability groups to develop young confident swimmers. Customers gain access to an online account to track their child’s journey and each swimmer receives their certificates and badges through a personalised mailing.
