Community involvement
Explore how we engage with our campus community of students and staff as well as our local community to educate on sustainability and demonstrate the activities and actions that we do to in relation to improving sustainability.
Our objectives
- To ensure that staff and student voices are heard.
- Increase community engagement with events, activities and actions that Edge Hill University undertake regarding sustainability.
- Partner with local charities as part of the Big Campus Clear Out to ensure that items do good in the local community.
Targets
- Run a Sustainability Fair in 2024 to engage staff, students and the wider community – promoting sustainability, by end of 2024.
- Run annual SustainNET event, by end of 2024.
