Edge Hill University boasts a stunning 160-acre campus, home to a wide range of beautiful plants and wildlife. When you are on campus, expect to see squirrels, rabbits, ducks, and even our campus cat.

In 2023, we were presented with the Green Flag award for the 12th year, marking over a decade as one of the country’s best green spaces.

Our Facilities Management Team work hard to keep the grounds to the highest standards, providing a beautiful space for students, staff and the public to unwind.

Sustainability

The University takes great effort and pride in designing and building new facilities of the highest quality not just in aesthetic terms but in the sustainable way in which those buildings operate.

Some of our upcoming sustainability targets include reducing energy, waste, and water usage, increase engagement with SutainNET, and continue the use of native tree planting.

We are committing to making the environment a better place for everyone, and aim to becoming carbon neutral by 2030.
