EHU News List block
List news stories associated with a subject or department, or a tag. You can also manually select individual news stories and enable filters so that users can filters posts themselves.
Example
The following settings have been applied:
- “Number of posts” set to 24
- “Order by” set to “Date”
- “Order” set to “Descending”
- “Simple/detailed/grid view” set to “Grid”
- “Pagination” toggled on
- “Appointment of Interim Vice-Chancellor” has been added as a “Sticky post”.
- “News type” pre-set to only display “News Feature” posts
- “Subject”, “Department” and “Topic” filters have also been toggled on.
Depending on the settings and filters used, it might not be possible to have more than one instance of an EHU News List block on a single webpage.
How to use this block
Settings that should be ignored:
- Specific news items with Sticky posts: Combining “Sticky posts” and “Specific news items” doesn’t work; any pre-set filters and specific news posts will be disregarded. Use “Sticky posts” in combination with the pre-set filters, or on its own if you just want to manually select x number of news posts.
