Choosing a part-time course allows you to study at your own pace, helps to spread the cost of tuition fees over a longer period of time and allows you to complete your qualification whilst living away from campus.

When will I study?

Part-time study is more flexible and involves less contact hours than full-time study, allowing you to balance achieving your goals with a busy schedule.

• Part-time timetables usually comprise of a full-day or two evenings – this may be on campus, online or a combination of the two.
• You’ll also be expected to dedicate some time for self-study; you can decide how best to fit this in with your other commitments.
• The exact split and days/times will depend on your individual course.

Edge Hill’s campus is located in an accessible location with driving routes from the M6 and M58 close-by, and is only a 15-minute walk from the bus and train station located in Ormskirk town centre. Once you’re on campus, you’ll be made to feel at home with free commuter breakfast on selected days and award-winning facilities to use freely as an Edge Hill student.
