Setting up your own business or working for yourself
Do you have a brilliant idea that you wish to develop, want to be self-reliant, and in control of the hours you work and your earning potential? If so, you may be interested in starting your own business, becoming self-employed or working as a freelancer.
We are currently working with the Princes Trust to raise awareness of self-employment as a career opportunity and develop students’ skills and understanding of self-employment.
If you are aged 18-30 and would like to access training, mentoring, funding, and resources, why not sign up for the virtual, interactive course provided by the Princes Trust.
If you don’t meet the criteria set out above but would like further information on the different types of businesses that may be right for you, and the various resources and websites available on this subject view our handy resource.Self employment guide
