All students who are studying towards a CPD programme or stand-alone module with the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine must enrol before they can start their course.

Enrolment is an essential process because it confirms your status as an Edge Hill University student, activates your IT/Library accounts, and allows you to access your learning resources online.

You must complete enrolment well in advance of your start date, as you may need to access pre-course information on Learning Edge (Blackboard). Any delay in enrolling will impact on your studies.

All students need to enrol each academic year, even if you are not studying a module.

How to enrol

We will email you instructions on how to enrol several weeks before your start date. Simply follow the steps below to ensure you are fully enrolled.

Setting up your email

It is essential that you set up your Edge Hill email account – after your initial enrolment invite all further messages from us will be sent to your Edge Hill email address.

Use the username and password you were sent in your enrolment invite to log in and set your email up.

We strongly recommend that you direct your Edge Hill email account to a personal email account to ensure that you receive any messages that we may send – send a test email to your Edge Hill account to ensure that the diversion is working.

We also recommend that due to NHS firewalls, you do not use an NHS-based email account.

Please make Edge Hill University a trusted recipient and check your spam folder on a regular basis.
