If you did not submit your optional module choices by the deadline, please contact module choices.
Once you have picked your modules and the deadline has passed, you cannot make further changes via the online portal.
You can submit a request to change your optional module/s within the first three weeks of semester one, but you will need to liaise with your department.
If you have already submitted your choices for next year, and wish to discuss them, please contact your department.
Module changes
Students who have optional modules as part of their degree programme can request a module change.
Students must submit the module change request in the first three weeks of teaching. Once submitted, the request will be considered by the academic department, students should have a response within five working days.
If you wish to change any of your optional modules, you will need to complete the online module change form. The form will be available to use from the start of semester one until the end of teaching week three for any changes to semester one and year-long modules. It will also be available at the start of semester two until the end of teaching week three for any semester two module changes.
Deadline dates for students submitting a module change request:
Semester one
25 October 2024
Semesters one/ two
25 October 2024 (for year long modules)
Semester two
14 February 2025
Module credit imbalance
The number of credits you study over the year should balance across the semesters (for example 60/60 credits per semester).
An imbalance of credits could result in a heavier workload in one semester.
If you opt to study with a credit imbalance, despite there being alternative optional modules available to you, you must complete a credit imbalance form.
Once you have completed the form, ensure it has been approved by your department before returning to [email protected]
Timetables
For timetable information, see the student calendar.
General timetables will be available from mid-August and personalised timetables will be available following re-enrolment for the next academic session. Seminar information will be communicated via your department.
