Welcome to Edge Hill University. We know that starting university is one of the most exciting times of your life. But we also know that between working out your timetable, making new friends and settling into a new place, you may not have had a chance to take in all your induction and welcome information.

So, we’ve brought some useful information together to help you settle in and get the most out of your first few days.

Have you fully enrolled onto your course?

You should have completed Stage One of enrolment online before you arrived. You also need to complete Stage Two so you can access your online sessions and receive your student loan on time.

If you’re not sure how to complete enrolment, visit the enrolment FAQs page.

Are you familiar with your Induction timetable?

The timetable tells you what you’re doing and where you need to be. You can view yours on your applicants’ page.

What’s happening on campus?

Here at Edge Hill, we are constantly improving our facilities. And right now we are working on three main areas:

Brand new SU

By now we are sure you are aware that our beloved Students’ Union facility is getting an upgrade. The new space will home flexible indoor spaces which can be used for events both day and night. Everything from society rooms to informal open spaces and the technology to create more interactive experiences. The social spaces will also spill over to the outdoors. Get ready for an outdoor cinema, food markets as well as places to meet up, relax and belong. It is going to be great.

Even more accommodation

We are proud to have been voted top University in the UK on UniCompare. As well as our halls being voted in the top 10 nationally by Whatuni Student Choice Awards 2023. Both of these awards are a result of students like you voting. We have invested £23.6m to add another 232 en-suite rooms to our campus. The new developments will contribute to a campus atmosphere that will inspire you, both academically and socially. Providing space to breathe and develop your potential.
