Payment
Full payment is required to book a CPD course via the Edge Hill University online store. Payment by instalments is not available. Your place is only reserved once payment is complete.
Discounts
Discounts for EHU staff and students require booking with an EHU email address. Bookings made without an EHU email may be cancelled, and a refund issued. EHU is not responsible for lost places due to incorrect booking. No discounts are available for the general public.
We may cancel orders if pricing or other errors occur and will provide a full refund via email.

Cancellations and refunds
1. Circumstances beyond our control
For events outside our control—such as extreme weather, emergencies, or tutor unavailability—we will notify participants as far in advance as possible:
- If the entire course is affected, participants will be offered an alternative date, provision, or full refund.
- If only 1–2 sessions are affected, replacement sessions will be provided. No partial refunds will be issued.
2. Circumstances within our control
For changes within our control—such as low enrolment or operational reasons—participants will be offered an alternative date or a full refund. Notice will be provided at least 48 hours in advance whenever possible.
3. Individual cancellations by participants
You may cancel your booking at any time by emailing [email protected]:
- Cancellations made 14 days or more before the course start will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations within 14 days of the course start are not refundable but may be transferred to the next available session.
- No partial refunds will be issued.
Online courses
Once access links have been sent, no refunds will be available. Participants are responsible for ensuring they can access the course and that their technology functions correctly. EHU is not liable for access issues caused by participants’ technical problems.
Digital products and access
Online courses may be recorded. Recordings and course materials are available to participants for 30 days after the course finishes. Do not share or reproduce materials, and do not attempt to record sessions yourself.
Be aware that personal information shared during polls or activities may be recorded. It is your responsibility to avoid disclosing sensitive information.
EHU is not liable for losses from linked websites or unforeseen events.
Course participation
Participants must engage respectfully and professionally, upholding EHU’s commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion. Constructive debate is encouraged, but inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the course without refund.
