Contract research

We can help you to drive innovation within your business. If you want to explore an idea or find a solution, we can help via our contract research services. We would undertake a programme of activity within a pre-defined scope, to help you find the answers that you’re looking for. We can conduct the research on-site within your organisation or within our own state-of-the-art facilities. All intellectual property (IP) would be retained by your company.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs)

For 45 years, KTPs have been helping businesses innovate for growth – and now they’re open to organisations in the third sector too. KTPs offer funding support to help you embed expertise, generate new knowledge, expand capability and develop a culture of innovation within your organisation.

If you have an idea for a strategically important project within your organisation, we may be able to help you access the KTP scheme to make a step-change in your business. KTPs involve employing a recent graduate (a ‘KTP Associate’) who works within your company. The Associate is supported by one of our expert academics who acts as a mentor to help them apply the latest insights to your project. KTPs last between one and three years and are part-funded – 50% for large businesses and public sector organisations, 67% for SMEs and 75% for not-for-profit businesses.
