Undergraduate programmes

Applicants should have completed any of the following:

A-Levels
International Baccalaureate
a recognised foundation course in the UK
Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) 80% + with at least 80% in specific subject
two-year degree from a recognised university with 55%+

International Baccalaureate (IB)

We are happy to accept students who have completed the IB qualification. We will use UCAS Tariff scores to assess a student’s suitability. Subject-specific requirements at Higher Level (HL) Grade 5 may apply. For clarity of entry requirements for the course you’re interested in, please contact the International Office.

Postgraduate programmes

Applicants should have completed a four year Bachelor’s (BA) degree with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.6/4.0 or 65% (second class) – when studied 2015 or after.
A three year BA degree (with honours) with a GPA of 2.8/4.0 or 70%.
A two year BA degree plus a two year Master’s (MA) degree with both having a GPA of 2.8/4.0 or 70%.

English Language Requirements

For applications for the January 2025 intake onwards, Edge Hill University will no longer accept English as the Medium of Instruction (MOI) as an exemption from the English language test requirement for entry into both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for Pakistani students.
