What is a Faculty of Education Student Ambassador?

The Faculty works with a large number of partner schools, and as part of this we offer the opportunity for school groups to visit campus and experience university. We collaborate with departments across the University to develop engaging and relevant educational sessions for both primary and secondary settings. Student Ambassadors work with the Faculty to assist with these visits and other FoE events taking place around campus throughout the year. The role of Student Ambassador typically involves being the main point of contact for and leading visiting school groups, delivering engaging campus tours to primary and secondary school pupils, and assisting with educational workshops. We occasionally have openings for Student Ambassadors to develop and deliver workshops. Student Ambassador roles are flexible to work around your study commitments, with no minimum requirement. Most days are between 10am-2pm however this can vary depending on the school visit or event. We provide full training for new Student Ambassadors.
