Every Child Counts: supporting learners, transforming futures
Every Child Counts (ECC) transforms maths learning with a suite of proven intervention programmes that give struggling learners the support they need to succeed. Designed for learners at different stages of their journey, our programmes boost attainment, build confidence, and enhance life chances.
We equip teachers to deliver specialist support for learners who need the most help, and train teaching assistants to deliver fun, focused small-group sessions for those just below age-related expectations, ensuring every learner can make real progress and move forward with confidence.

Stormont House, a special school for children with moderate learning difficulties, has successfully seen the benefit of using Every Child Counts maths intervention programmes for over ten years. Pupils typically make eleven months progress which represents approximately eight months more than expected. Importantly, class teachers report increased levels of confidence and independence in all lessons as well as maths. At Stormont, pupils often progress from Numbers Count to 1stClass@Number which consolidates and extends their knowledge and understanding and produces similar levels of progress.
