Starting University means that you may be moving away from home for the first time. Aside from your course of study, where you choose to live will probably be one of the most important decisions you make.

Our halls of residence are at the heart of our vibrant on-campus community, providing a safe environment in which new students live, study and socialise. They offer excellent value for money, with a range of rooms and catering packages available depending on your requirements and your budget. You will find everything you need is just a few minutes walk from your room.

Chancellors CourtThese pages provide a guide to living on campus, including the ultra-modern accommodation in Chancellors Court and Chancellors South, Founders Court and Palatine Court, and Graduates Court.

You can also learn about applying for our halls of residence, find out how we allocate rooms, and get an idea of what to expect on the day you move in.

Alternatively, you may wish to consider the wide choice of private accommodation which is available to rent nearby. Many students live close to the University in Ormskirk, while others choose Liverpool or local towns such as Southport.

Whether you want student life, city life, or somewhere in between, we can help find the place that’s right for you.
