Applying for halls: our undergraduate guarantee

Open the door to your accommodation and a world of opportunity.

We’ve made substantial investments in our accommodation in the last few years, and aren’t stopping yet. This means we aim to provide a room in our halls of residence for you, and all first-year, full-time UK and EU undergraduate students who want to live on campus. You just need to submit an application by an agreed deadline and make Edge Hill your firm choice to guarantee yourself a room.  Full details of the deadline will be sent to you nearer the time.

When can I move into halls?

We open our doors to successful applicants the weekend before the start of Welcome Week. From the moment you step onto campus, there will be people on hand to make you feel part of our community.

Once you have completed enrolment, you’ll be given the keys to your accommodation. And then it’s all about getting you settled in.

Meet your flatmates, join a welcome talk and connect with the Campus Life team. They are there from day one to help you have a great university experience.

If you are successful in applying for accommodation in our halls of residence, you can expect to move in during the weekend before the start of Welcome Week.

Moving in

We’re a finalist for “best moving in experience” in the Global Student Living Awards 2022, and our moving in photos should give you a flavour of why. Whether it’s helping you enrol, collecting your room keys or settling into your new home, we’ve got you covered.
