Paramedic Practice

Paramedic Practice is one of the fastest developing health professions. Studying our course, approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and delivered primarily at our St James’ site in Manchester, you’ll prepare for roles within the ambulance service, urgent care centres, GP clinics and other health and social care settings.

Learn from registered paramedics and a range of specialists. Practise in our ambulance simulator. Solve problems in our 3D immersive simulation suite. Then apply everything you’ve learnt to practice – you’ll spend half of your time on the frontline with ambulance crews and other healthcare teams.

As an approved HCPC programme, you'll be eligible to apply to join the professional register and work as a paramedic .

100% of our Paramedic Practice students are employed or in further study 15 months after graduation (Graduate Outcomes Survey 2018/19).

Apply theory to practice on a range of placements in urgent and emergency care settings across the North West.
