At Edge Hill University we’re here to support you right from the beginning of your student journey. Our dedicated teams are available to offer support for all disabled students and/or those with specific learning difficulties. You can access support before you join us, whilst you’re here, and even after you graduate.
Your support options
Definitions
At Edge Hill, our definitions of students with a disability or one or more specific learning difficulties includes the following:
Disabled students may declare one or more of the following:
- Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC)
- mental health diagnoses such as anxiety and depression
- sensory impairment
- mobility difficulties
Or a medical condition such as:
- epilepsy
- diabetes
- heart condition
- severe asthma
Students with specific learning difficulties may have one or more of the following:
- dyslexia
- dyspraxia
- dyscalculia
- ADHD
