Physician associates carry out tasks such as taking medical histories, examining patients, diagnosing illness and planning and managing treatment.

Our postgraduate professional development portfolio in Medicine also includes an MMed Medicine which offers a range of specialist pathways for experienced, qualified doctors who are registered with the General Medical Council. In addition to this, there is a PGCert Medical Leadership programme which is available as a target award or as part of a dedicated Medical Leadership and Management pathway on MSc Leadership Development.

Alternatively, you may wish to specialise in advanced fertility practice, cardiothoracic care, clinical education, surgery or workplace-based postgraduate medical education, or explore areas of medicine in depth on our MRes Masters by Research or PhD Doctor of Philosophy.
