Edge Hill University will train physician associates from 2019, recruiting graduates who are looking to undertake medical training to work under the supervision of doctors as part of a multidisciplinary team. Physician associates carry out tasks such as taking medical histories, examining patients, diagnosing illness and planning and managing treatment.
Our postgraduate professional development portfolio in Medicine also includes an MMed Medicine which offers a range of specialist pathways for experienced, qualified doctors who are registered with the General Medical Council. In addition to this, there is a dedicated Medical Leadership and Management pathway on MSc Leadership Development.
