Supporting you through summer assessments

Have you checked your results?

In case you’ve missed our recent emails, your results are now available on the results page – just sign in using your university account details.

If you need to undertake reassessment, this will be displayed on your results page, along with other details including when and how your reassessments are taking place.

For the majority of students, the submission deadline for referred or deferred assessment will be Monday 15 August 2022. Please check your results page for your own date(s).

Help with revision and academic skills

Reach your full potential with UniSkills. We offer 1-1 appointments and a wealth of online resources covering referencing, proofreading and more to help you develop your academic skills.

We’ve also brought together essential information and advice for exam preparation.

We’ll be sharing lots of study suggestions over on Twitter @EHULearnService and Instagram @EHULibrary between Monday 8 and Friday 12 August, so do follow us.

Here for your health and wellbeing

We have dedicated wellbeing staff, based in the Catalyst, offering in-person or virtual appointments.

We can provide you with emotional and practical support including strategies and services to help you manage difficult emotions, including worrying about retaking your assessments.

If you don’t find it easy to ask for support, we offer a great range of self-help resources with information, ideas and techniques for you to manage your own mental health

One of these resources is Togetherall, an online support community that you can access any time, day or night. Professionally trained Wall Guides monitor the community to ensure the safety and anonymity of all members. There’s also a suite of resources and tailored self-help courses covering topics such as anxiety, sleep and depression.

We are also available 24/7 if you feel you need any initial out of hours wellbeing support. You can speak with us by visiting the Security and Customer Information Centre on campus or calling the Campus Support Team on 01695 584227.

Providing study space on campus

Throughout the summer, Catalyst will remain open, offering a range of study spaces including group study and individual silent study rooms. We have a mixture of resources for you to access including books, journals, databases as well as 600 PCs and loanable laptops. We also have lots of knowledgeable staff on hand to answer any questions you have!

Weekdays 8am – 11pm

Weekends 10am – 11pm

Help if you’re finding things difficult

We offer specialist student support if you’re finding things really difficult. We are here to provide that extra bit of help if you feel like things aren’t going to plan, you can talk to us about any situation – we can chat through your options and offer bespoke help and guidance.
