    Our facilities

Edge Hill’s Computer Science department is home to a wide range of immersive AI technology and facilities. There are also specialist laboratories for networking and games programming, in addition to a specialist research laboratory, open access laboratory and a Harvard style lecture theatre.

The four-screen CAVE (Computer Augmented Virtual Environment) in our Tech Hub offers students and businesses the chance to fully immerse themselves in a virtual room.

Using real data to replicate reality, users are able to experience real life scenarios in 4k resolution, anything from emergency situations to complex surgery and lab reactions.
