Diagnosis and screening

We do not carry out Autism or other diagnosis assessments at Edge Hill University where the route to diagnosis is via the National Health Service. If you are looking to explore a diagnosis of Autism please speak to your GP for initial discussions. It may be that a working diagnosis can be made which will support you to access Disabled Students Allowance, (DSA).

You can ask a medical professional to complete a disability evidence form if you have a working diagnosis or are already on a waiting list for a formal diagnosis this can support an application for Disabled Students Allowance.
