UniSkills Workshops and webinars are an opportunity for a deeper dive into a specific skill that will support you on your academic journey. Facilitated by our friendly and knowledgeable Academic Skills Advisors, these sessions provide an informal safe space where you will be supported alongside other students in a small group setting.
Uniskills Workshops and webinars run throughout the academic year and cover a range of key academic skills including:
Academic reading, writing and referencing
Effective exam preparation
Finding academic print and digital resources
Conducting a literature review
Presentation skills
How to book a UniSkills Workshop
You can view and book on any (or all) of our UniSkills Workshops via the student portal.
When you click into any of our events on the student portal you will see the location details of each workshop / webinar in the top right hand corner information. The workshop / webinar details will also be emailed to your student email account when you register to attend any of our sessions.
