MSc Health Psychology
To help you feel prepared for your postgraduate studies, we’ve gathered together some course related activities including suggested reading and some great things to do right now.
Suggested reading
You will be given far more information about which textbooks to read and introduced to the University Library, as well as the many ebooks we have for you to access, when you begin your studies.
We don’t recommend rushing out to buy texts before you arrive. And your reading materials will be available in the University’s library. But before your course begins, if you can pick up second hand, borrow from a library or access online, you may want to prepare by becoming familiar with the contents of a common textbook in health psychology, such as Ogden, J. (2023). Health Psychology: A textbook. McGraw Hill.
If you do want to purchase any textbooks, we suggest buying older editions as these will generally be much cheaper.
