Ready to apply?
Applications are open for the majority of our PGCEs and postgraduate taught courses within the Faculty of Education for 2026 entry. A small number of our PGCEs are now full for 2026 entry and are therefore closed to applications, this will be indicated on the individual coursepages on our website where relevant. There is no fee to apply.
The application process varies depending on your course. Please visit the course page and click on ‘Apply’ for details specific to each course.
Postgraduate teacher training applications need to be submitted through GOV.UK Apply for teacher training. Watch our video for a step-by-step guide to the process.
Postgraduate taught courses require a direct application to Edge Hill University, further information is available on the dedicated webpage.

Accommodation
We have a limited number of rooms available on campus for postgraduate students for 2026 entry, on a first-come, first-served basis. Offer holders who have accepted their offer to study with Edge Hill for 2026 entry can contact [email protected] to enquire about availability.
The majority of our postgraduate students live in private accommodation. There are plenty of locations to choose from nearby with easy access to campus via public transport links.
