If you are considering a career in psychology but have a degree in a different subject area, or if you’re a psychology graduate but your degree did not confer eligibility for the Graduate Basis for Registration with the British Psychological Society, then our MSc Psychology (Conversion) can provide the first step towards gaining Chartered Psychologist status.
You will gain an appreciation of individual differences in personality and human behaviour and study biological, developmental, cognitive and social psychology. Research skills and data analysis are other key features of the programme.
Alternatively, MSc Psychology in Business provides the opportunity for Psychology graduates, or those from related disciplines, to develop the creativity, innovation and leadership skills needed to thrive in contemporary business environments.
We also offer an MRes Masters by Research which enables you to explore a particular aspect of psychology in depth.

Open Days and Virtual Events
If you are considering studying at Edge Hill University, the best way we usually recommend to gain an insight into the student experience is to see our stunning campus for yourself by attending an open day.
While you are currently unable to visit the campus, we want to make sure that you are still able to discover everything we have to offer and get answers to all of your questions.
Our June 2020 open day is going virtual, offering you the chance to find out more about psychology and the University through a week of online activities.
We are continuing to take bookings for subsequent open days while monitoring government advice regarding events. We will communicate all key information to anyone who books to attend.
