The dedicated Student Life team host a variety of free events and activities throughout the year with a programme consisting of:
- Daily pop-up activities at the Student Life Arch
- Weekly Get Connected craft sessions
- Weekly Global Cafe afternoons led by the international team
- Bi-weekly Learn 2 Cook sessions
- Monthly visits from Therapy Dogs
- Monthly celebrations of Faith & Food
- Termly afternoons with the Petting Zoo
- and so much more
By checking into any and all of our events, you are automatically entered into our Scan In To Win competition, with an individual drawn as the winner of a top prize each month. The more events you attend and scan into, the more chances you have of being the monthly winner.
For Halls students, each Scan In To Win is calculated from your hall, for a termly competition to see which hall comes out on top, with exclusive prizes to be won as an entire hall. All scans are counted across the entire year to see which Hall will become the annual winner of The Halls Cup.
Scanning in not only puts you in with the chance of winning individual and Hall wide prizes, but it also helps you prove that your hall is the best one on campus.
Meet the team
Look out for people wearing purple. They are a mix of student staff (Campus Connectors) and full-time staff, all dedicated to making your EHU experience an unforgettable one. They are happy to help answer any questions or queries you may have.
