To study with us, you’ll need to show that you meet our English language requirements.
We accept a range of tests, and each has its own minimum score depending on the level of study you’re applying for. You’ll need to achieve the required grades to be eligible for entry.
- Undergraduate: HKDSE English with a grade of 3 or above as an alternative to IELTS 6.0
- Postgraduate: HKDSE English with a grade of 4 or above as an alternative to IELTS 6.5

Foundation entry requirements
To be considered for a foundation programme at Edge Hill University, you must hold:
- A Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education with a minimum score of 222 across three subjects, excluding Mathematics and English
