If you’re a Ghanaian student planning to study at Edge Hill University, understanding the entry requirements for Ghanaian students is key to a successful application. This guide provides all the essential information about the qualifications and criteria Ghanaian applicants need to meet to be eligible for admission.

English Requirements for Ghanaian students

To study with us, you’ll need to show that you meet our English language requirements. There’s more than one way to do this, and we’ve made it simple to understand what’s accepted.

If you have completed the West African Senior School Certificate (WASSC) with the required grades in English, you may already meet the English requirement. This qualification must have been obtained within the last 10 years and will be assessed as part of your application.

If your qualifications don’t meet the requirement, you will need to take one of the recognised English language tests. The scores you need will depend on the course level you’re applying for.
