Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)

What’s on

Our inclusivity calendar can be easily integrated into staff and student Outlook dairies. It helps to raise awareness of national and international events, celebrations and observances from different cultures and faiths.

The calendar can be integrated with your existing Microsoft Outlook diary. When it is installed you’ll be able to find out more information about each event by double clicking/tapping on any of the listings.

How to install the calendar

Adding the calendar to Outlook is quick and easy. All you need to do is:

  1. open your calendar in Outlook
  2. select ‘Open Calendar’ from the top toolbar, and then ‘From Address Book’
  3. search for ‘Inclusion Calendar’ select the calendar button and then ‘OK’
  4. the calendar will appear under the ‘Shared Calendar’ section in Outlook.

You can choose to have the EDI calendar open in a separate window or you can switch it on and off on a daily/weekly basis using the tick box on the left-hand side of the calendar.

You can also add this to the Outlook desktop application by right clicking on ‘Other Calendars’ select add calendar from address book and search for [email protected]. We hope this more integrated calendar is more accessible for our Edge Hill community.
