Notes of interactions, conversations or meetings held between yourself and a member of our team.
Information captured through booking forms.
Details of opportunities which you wish us to promote to our students/graduates.
Any other information you have provided us with.
Where do we get the data from?
Any data gathered will be taken from the public domain or be provided to the Careers team by the individual or organisation in question
How we use the data we collect about you?
We will use your data to help us provide continued services to you.
We will use your contact information to contact you about any activities and opportunities that you may be interested in, including those which are coordinated by Careers, departments in the University or our partners.
Information may be shared with colleagues within the University and we may also process personal data for the following purposes:
To verify an account when you register for our online services.
To verify a job advertisement with us.
To register you for an event.
To gauge your opinion.
To keep a record of communications between you and us.
What happens if you do not provide specific data?
If you do not provide statutory data to us on the vacancy service, we will be unable to advertise your vacancies to our students.
Your rights
You have the right to access and be informed about what personal data the University or Careers holds about you and what it is used for. To submit a request please refer to the University’s Data Protection Office. You can also restrict processing of your data by informing us. We may amend this privacy notice from time to time, any significant changes to this notice or to the way we treat your data will be communicated via either the Careers website or the University website, or by contacting you directly through the most appropriate means.
