Initial Teacher Education (ITE) partners

Partnership is at the heart of education, and the Faculty of Education is enormously proud of its wide, diverse and collaborative partnership.

The continued success of Edge Hill University as a provider of Initial Teacher Education is due to the well-established partnerships we have with our schools, colleges and settings. Our partners have opportunities to have input into our curriculum development, to recruitment and selection of applicants and the ongoing delivery of the ITE curriculum. Our Faculty Strategic Partnership Board meets termly and considers the strategic overview in relation to key issues such as Ofsted and Department for Education (DfE) guidance, and we have Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Further Education and Training Advisory Groups where partners contribute to departmental developments. It really is a true partnership.

If you would like to find out about additional opportunities to work in partnership with Edge Hill, please contact [email protected] or call 01695 654303 and one of the team members will be in touch to discuss further.
