How we can help

We understand that as a disabled student or a student with specific learning difficulties you may want to know what support and information is available during your studies. Our Widening Access and Participation Team are here to support you and offer advice during your journey into university. We offer bespoke guidance tailored to you and your individual needs, including:

Student talks one on one to a member of our student services team.
  • support with researching and applying for Higher Education and Student Finance, including Disabled Students Allowance
  • assistance with enrolling onto dedicated outreach activities, such as our offer holder days.
  • providing bespoke visits to our campus to meet current staff and students. These visits allow you to get detailed information about our on-course support offer
  • equipping you with financial and pastoral support for you to attend Edge Hill University open days and offer holder days
  • liaising with your support workers to discuss the support available to you at Edge Hill
  • help with your transition to Edge Hill by facilitating one to one meetings with relevant teams across the University such as our Inclusion and SpLD teams.
