Academic skills support
Personal Tutor
A Personal Tutor will be assigned to you when you start your course and will stay with you until you graduate. You can meet with your Tutor as often as you like to discuss any worries, course-related or otherwise. Your Tutor will offer confidential advice and support to help you feel at ease during your time with us.
Finance support
Careers support
When you study with us, you’ll have access to support from our Careers Team. You can chat to the team about employability opportunities during your studies and for up to three years after you graduate.
As a mature student, you get access to ‘Get Ahead’ appointments with the Careers Team. ‘Get Ahead’ appointments are 30 minutes long and will be with your dedicated Employment Adviser. In these appointments you can:
- get the support you need to help you reach your goals
- get support with writing your CV
- get support in making job applications
- chat about anything careers related
