Counselling and Psychotherapy

Overview

Three students chat while sat around a table studying.Our groundbreaking MSc focuses on contemporary creative approaches to counselling and psychotherapy.

Combining skills, placements and experiences across the lifespan, the course has been designed in collaboration with, and is approved by, the UK Association of Humanistic Psychology Practitioners (UKAHPP), a member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

It will appeal to those who wish to train as a psychotherapist, integrating person-centred process experiential therapy with person-centred expressive art therapy and creative and expressive arts methods.

Your own personal therapy and clinical supervision will be key elements of the programme, with the University contributing up to £1,200 towards the cost of this.
