Your situation: not holding any offers
You applied to university this year through UCAS, but aren’t holding any offers. Now you’ve got your JCQ results. You can still secure a place with Edge Hill University this year.
Scenario: I applied through UCAS but am not currently holding any offers from Edge Hill University or elsewhere.
Even if you’ve already turned down an offer from us, it’s not too late to change your mind. If we’re now the right choice for you, we can reconsider your application. Learn more in our complete guide to Clearing.
You should contact our Clearing team, ensuring that you have your UCAS Personal ID number and your results to hand, and we can help you with your next steps.
Clearing opens on 5 July 2025 and you can apply to Edge Hill either with or without your results. If you’re waiting to receive your results over the summer we’ll be able to give you an offer in principle. From JCQ results day on Thursday 14 August 2025, we will be able to provide instant decisions to most enquirers.

Get in touch
Once you have made your choice, you can apply through UCAS or directly to your university of choice. You’ll need your UCAS Personal ID number and results to hand.
Call our Clearing helpline or apply online if you’ve decided you want to study with us. Our Clearing Team will confirm with you what courses have available spaces, and they’ll discuss your options with you. In most cases, we’ll be able to make you an informal offer over the phone instantly. There’s no limit on how many offers you can hold and you don’t need to accept that offer immediately. You’ll be told how long the offer will last for, so you can take some time to think about what’s right for you.
Call our Clearing helpline from 5 July, 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. On Thursday 14 August 2025 (JCQ results day), our phone lines will be open from 8am – 6pm. View key dates and information for Clearing 2025.
