Moving out is a big change, but at Edge Hill University there’s plenty of support available to help get you settled in.
On-campus and accommodation facilities
There’s plenty of facilities around campus to make the most of. The great thing about campus, is everything is in one place.
Do your laundry on your time. Based in the Students’ Union (SU) building, the Laundrette is open 24/7. The Laundrette is run by a company called Circuit, you can create an account via their website or app.
You can go grab your post from The Post Room in the SU building between 9am – 6pm, Monday to Friday.
You might be wondering what responsibilities you’ll have moving to campus. It’s your responsibility to look after your bedroom (that includes taking out any personal rubbish).
Kitchen and common areas are cleaned between 9am – 1pm, Monday to Friday, by our own team (excluding holidays).
Please ensure the communal areas are kept tidy to enable the team to undertake cleaning duties. On weekends you will need to take our your communal bins to your nearest disposal area.
Connect with others
There’s plenty happening throughout the year. Attend events and make the most of the opportunities. Try out new things during your time on campus. You’ll get the meet lots of new people too. You can stay up to date by chatting to our campus connectors, or following us on social media.
