MyView

Request Visitor Parking

Parking at The University is extremely limited and, to support our Travel Plan, we give priority to staff, students and Car Sharers. The University retains a small daily allocation of 20 spaces to accommodate individual visitors attending on business, however, demand will undoubtedly outstrip supply.

Active Directory

Windows Terminal Server Login. A network login is available to all registered students, eligible members of staff and some external partners (by arrangement). Access Active Directory is used by users who login to the Edge Hill network. Requests for access to the service should be made via the IT Service Desk this would be in the form of a new user registration request. Admissions Web Portal

This is a facility allowing staff to generate offer letters, record information such as DBS, Medical, qualification checks and control flags. It allows staff to monitor Admissions data crucial to the student record, tracks DBS payments and course conditions specific to the offer. The information within the Administration tab is what guides Admissions Online and is managed by Admissions staff. The system also accommodates the Confirmation process as well as Clearing, from an Admissions administrative point of view.

Admissions Online

Admissions Online is a portal which presents UCAS and GTTR application forms electronically. It allows academic and administrative staff to make decisions and assign feedback to the applicants, which feeds in to the Admissions Web Portal and indicates which decisions need to be included in the next UCAS export. This is an online database which requires only an internet browser to run. Access to this service is granted via the Admissions team. This service is available off-site. Authentication is by means of your network username and password although access must be granted by Admissions department.

Clearing portal

This system enables Clearing Assistants and Admissions tutors to admit and communicate with new Clearing enquiries and applicants. Access to this system is only granted after the member of staff has been on the associated training session facilitated by Admissions staff and so access is entirely managed within Admissions.
