The 2024 BRIT Challenge has launched at Edge Hill University. The British Inspiration Trust (BRIT) supports young adult mental health and fitness in the UK through the delivery of the annual BRIT Challenge. And we have lots of activities to get involved with over the next few weeks.

ResActive

Throughout February the Student Life team and Edge Hill Sport are raising awareness of BRIT Challenge with ResActive. Get active and improve your mental and physical health in the process. As part of both BRIT Challenge and Feel Good February, all of the Campus Sport programme will be free to engage with for the whole month of February. So where does ResActive come into this? Simply book and attend a Campus Sport session to be in with a chance of winning. The more you attend throughout the month, the more likely you are to win. Challenges include:

  • Most attendances in a week
  • Most attendances across the month
  • Attendance across the programme

In addition to this all EHU residents can earn ResLife points for getting involved. This is in line with the ResLife points guidelines. The winning halls will also be awarded a free Halls Social. So spread the word. The more your Halls get involved, the more chances you have of winning.

What are you waiting for? View the full Campus Sport programme and start planning your month of activities.

Lynda Brady

We understand the importance of raising awareness of young adult mental health, and continuing to promote this across our Edge Hill community, will always be a priority.

We encourage all our students to take part in the BRIT Challenge campaign, and we ensure there are no barriers to getting involved. From showcasing our amazing support teams and developing wellness activities, there is something for everyone.

Every year the BRIT Challenge contributes to a great atmosphere on campus. Our students improve their mental health and fitness, try something new and meet new friends. All this while helping to raise vital funds for BRIT’s partner mental health charities. We are proud to take part in the annual BRIT Challenge.
