We provide individual assistance and support to staff engaged in research and research students (e.g. PGCert in Research. MRes, MPhil and PhD). This includes:

  • Locating information resources
  • Literature searching
  • Using electronic journals and databases
  • Current awareness
  • Managing bibliographic data

Writing for the purpose of research

Help on academic writing (i.e. structure, logic, clarity etc.) for research students and staff new to postgraduate study is available on an individual basis or in small groups.

Training

Library and Learning Services contribute several sessions to the Researcher Development Programme and staff can make bookings via the Research wiki. Post graduate students can book by emailing research@edgehill.ac.uk
