Future dates

A graduate waves to family and friends in the audience as she walks along the red carpet after receiving her degree.

Edge Hill’s graduation ceremonies are usually held across one week in mid-July.

The graduation ceremonies typically take place Monday to Friday but may continue into the weekend.

Future ceremonies are scheduled to take place on the following dates:

  • July 2023: Monday 17 – Friday 21 July 2023
  • July 2024: Monday 15 – Friday 19 July 2024

In previous years the University has held graduation ceremonies twice a year, in July and December.

As a result of fewer graduates attending the December ceremonies, we undertook a review and the overwhelming feedback from our graduates was a preference to have their ceremony during the summer, sharing the better weather, light nights and the celebratory atmosphere around campus made the experience extra special!

We want to ensure that all students have the best possible experience, therefore all graduation ceremonies will now take place in July.

The graduation ceremonies will typically take place Monday to Friday but may continue into the weekend.

Specific dates and times for each ceremony period are published by early April of that year.
